Nine-Module Nuclear Island
Our first prototype, the Nuclear Island—the subterranean structure that houses the plant’s nuclear components—was divided into nine modules. Assembled in just two days, this mechanical fit-up test helped us understand large-scale module fabrication, equipment integration, and rapid assembly techniques.
In June 2023, we hosted an exhibition at our Texas manufacturing facility for government stakeholders, where we gave tours of the Nuclear Island and explained our approach to manufacturing.
