During the construction process, all expenses are recorded and monitored to make sure they stay in line with the cost management plan.

 

Our team carefully oversees project and performance status and evaluates construction milestones. We then manage payment schedules that incentivize contractors to maintain quality while still meeting deadlines. If rework or changes arise, our team will analyze the cost to complete new activities as well as investigate potential defective work claims.

Last Energy helps remove complexity from the construction process by holding contractors accountable. Our team will provide oversight throughout the development process, monitoring construction progress along with equipment and material compliance to specifications. If problems arise, our team is there to check original contract documents, review events and provide recommendations so that all specifications are adhered to.

 

We also closely manage schedules to ensure key milestones are met with consistency. We'll document progress reports for stakeholders as well as establish a punch list of incomplete and/or deficient items to quickly identify potential delays and work on solutions to remediate issues.

Last Energy provides projects with a qualified Owner's Engineer that will provide oversight on the construction process and verify that development is being completed as planned. As an onsite contact, they'll answer any structural or engineering-related questions as problems arise as well as ensure that components are being built to specifications.

 

Our engineers start by reviewing the project budget and scope along with assessing the feasibility and site selection studies. Engineers will then prepare early project schedules and design criteria allowing them to oversee the construction process and identify any emerging trends that could result in delays or budget overages.

CONTRACT COMPLIANCE

 

ENSURE CONTRACTORS ARE IN COMPLIANCE WITH LOCAL AND NATIONAL LABOR LAWS  


Last Energy provides robust document control and other administrative methods to take the complexity out of contract compliance. We leverage our extensive knowledge of international contract laws and local employment laws to provide guidance on the documentation and files necessary to maintain compliance and prepare for an audit.

 

Our experts oversee the process and help project teams to collect, organize and prepare the documentation necessary to ensure all contractors are following all Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity laws along with WH laws to assure that local works are being paid a fair wage.
